I always take down the Christmas decorations on the 31st of December as I like to start the new year all clean and fresh. But after all the decorations are gone the house looks so empty so I replace the decorations with winter greenery.

I love using hellebores, hyacinths and daffodils. The good thing is that I can plant them in the garden when the flowers have bloomed so nothing is wasted and my garden looks so pretty in springtime. I will explain in another post how to do that.

I’m not a house plant person, I prefer to change things and mix it with greenery and flowers form the garden. I have this laurel tree in the kitchen because I can use the leaves for cooking.

I will be back to regular posting again and looking forward to sharing so much fun projects (and parties) that we have planned for 2024.
