The Kitchen

Our kitchen is not the heart of the home, the dining room definitely is the heart of our home as we spend a lot of time at the dining table. But our kitchen is more like an extension of the garden, a hallway or a passage-through. We do have room for a table and chairs if we remove the kitchen island but as the room is more of a in and out room we’ve decided to keep it functional and dedicate the dining room, across the kitchen, as a room where we gather, eat and entertain.
