How to boil an egg?

1. Fill a pan with three-quarters of water and 1 tbsp sea salt.

2. Bring water to boil. Place the egg in the salted boiling water. Dip in and then out (shock effect prevents cracking) boil the egg as described below.

A soft-boiled egg

boil for 5 minutes.

A medium soft-boiled egg

boil for 7 ½ minutes

A hard-boiled egg

boil for 10 minutes

Soft-boiled egg with soldiers

Toast bread and cut it into slices, these are the soldiers. Dip the soldiers in the soft-boiled egg.
